ABOUT LABS:
It is always good when you find a petty puppy you have always wanted and then to get that puppy home and it go crazy, jumping and making a mess everywhere. Puppies will be puppies, but when you get a puppy from laid back parents you will more likely get the puppy that you want to raise with your kids and the puppy will end up being a laid back dog. If you want a hunting lab, all Labs can be trained, some better then others. But if you want a hunting Lab, he or she needs to come from a high energy parents. A lot of times when people buy a lab puppy and they get it home and they say "it's a bad dog they can't do anything with the dog, its digging, chewing and jumping everywhere. " It is not the dog, it was the people did not do their homework on the puppy before they bought it and did not train it as a puppy. If you want a hunting dog, you get it from a line that has high energy, if you want a family pet you get a puppy from bloodlines that are laid back. I will say that labs was breed for hunting so when they dig and jump, it is not a bad dog but they are board!!! If you have a high energy dog and you put him in the back yard with nothing to do all day when you are at work, the puppy or dog will find something to do with his time. This is when you come home a find your yard dug up, and chairs chewed up. I have found ways to help if you have this problem. One is take your dog on a walk in the morning and afternoon. But we all know not many of us can and will do that. So here is something else to try. Dogs are a lot like kids, they have toys and get board with them. So you buy some toys, at less 10. Put them in a toy box and only give your dog 2 of them, for 2 days, take them away and give 2 new toys from the box and put the old ones back in the box. You will give new toys every 2 days. (new from the toy box.) You know how your kids do when you go to clean out their toy box and they find the toy they forgot they had in the bottom. It is like a new toy to them. Dogs are the same. When it comes to buying toys, Kong's are great, they will out last the others. I hope this has helped some of you.

COLOR NOTE: When it come to color on a lab the best thing to do is look at the ears and top of the nose that is about the color the puppy with be grown. They all darken up about 2 shads.
